As for the oven, it includes a convection mode and a steam-clean option as well as a self-clean option. The oven also includes a temperature probe and has a covered bake element and porcelain-coated racks, making it easier to clean manually, so you don’t have to use the self-clean mode. There are at least 5 rack positions in the main oven, and touchpads for setting the oven temperature.
The GE Profile is ADA Compliant, meaning that it is accessible and easy to open, but it also has a control lockout for safety.
GE Profile vs. Kenmore Elite
The GE Profile does not have a cooking or warming drawer, unlike the Kenmore Elite 95073, but is a consistently top performer with no known issues and many happy customers. It is also one of the few ranges around that is California Prop 65 certified (according to GE themselves).
